Training-Employment Matching
Professions of the futur hub
Unite for our future workforce and the betterment of our region
A large-scale project is underway to introduce future-oriented professions in the Estrie region!
Our region is facing significant challenges due to a labor shortage, with a need to fill 34,800 positions by 2026. High school and adult education students have limited knowledge of priority professions, which restricts their interest in these fields. R3USSIR’s partners have expressed a desire to develop a large-scale project to support career exploration and promote in-demand and lesser-known professions in the Estrie region.
This is how the Estrie professions of the futur hub is being developed for the 2025-2026 school year. This event will offer potential future talent an immersive and interactive opportunity to explore these professions, aimed at both youth and adults considering career changes. It will feature hands-on activities and opportunities to meet passionate professionals who practice, teach, and study in these fields. Schools and organizations will be invited to register groups of young people engaged in career exploration or in the process of career redirection.
