Premises: Dropping out or failing at school does not happen overnight. It’s the result of a trajectory during which a multitude of factors and players influence the young person’s path.
Aim of the reference document produced by Réunir Réussir (R2): support IRCs and their partners in drawing up their regional-local action plan. More specifically, it should make it possible to estimate the potential of the actions deployed and their effects on young people, based on the needs identified.
It also aims to provide field players with a solid foundation for their actions, enabling them to make informed choices when planning and implementing them, without imposing any particular course of action or procedure.
Aim of the fact sheets: highlight each of the determinants of educational success, with evidence-based data and courses of action to support the power to act of partners working to promote educational success.

This poster is designed for educational childcare services (SGÉE) and school staff, as well as for community members from the health and social services network and the general community. It is a useful popularization tool for developing a common vision of the educational programs offered to children in SGÉE and kindergarten for 4- and 5-year-olds. It brings together common elements from the Ministère de la Famille‘s Accueillir la petite enfance program and the Ministère de l’Éducation‘s preschool education cycle program. The garden metaphor is used to illustrate the cohesion and continuity of these programs. Feel free to use it in your interventions with families whose children will be transitioning into kindergarten to address the aspects covered in these two educational programs.
